Domestic Abuse

The Aberdeenshire Violence Against Women Partnership commissioned the development of multi-agency domestic abuse guidance with a focus on the protection of children.
This guidance is for managers and practitioners in both adult and children services, working in all statutory and third sector agencies, services and organisations in Aberdeenshire.  The Guidance ambition is to support the understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on children and non-abusing parents/carer’s when carrying out an assessment to determine risk.
