The Whole Family Wellbeing Team aims to work collaboratively to support the goal of ensuring families have access to the right support, at the right time and in the right way. Focusing on relationships and connections, we want to support the creation of capability rather than the management of dependency. Our aims over this period are:
You and your family will be empowered to express your views and be supported to shape service delivery.
You and your family will have access to information to help you identify the right support for you at the right time.
You and your family will be provided with clear routes to help you to access additional, higher level or specialist support/ treatment where required.
Our focus is on relationship-based support that strengthens wellbeing and leads to positive, lasting outcomes for both you and your caregivers. Every step of the way, you’ll be supported by people who want to see your family thrive.
One of the ways we connect with the community is through the Groups that we facilitate.
Who can attend?
Attendance will depend on the group or session being offered. Some sessions are open to the whole family, while others are designed for parents and carers. Children may be able to attend where childcare is not available, for example during school holidays or in-service days.
Families are welcome to bring someone along for support, such as a family member or friend, if this would help them feel more comfortable.
How do I book a group or session?
If you are interested in attending one of our groups or family sessions, please complete the Find Out More form for your area below. A Family Outreach Worker will then get in touch to discuss the session, including the time, location and whether it is suitable for your family’s needs.
We keep our groups small so that families feel welcome, supported and able to take part in a way that works for them.
All holiday groups and sessions are free to attend.
