Learning & Development

Supporting a Confident and Competent Workforce

A clear sense of local ownership over Getting it Right for Every Child has been embedded across Aberdeenshire. This is in part due to ongoing investment and commitment in local multi-agency training. Language from the National Practice Model around Wellbeing, My World Triangle, and the Resilience Matrix is widely used within assessment and planning, across partner organisations.

Professional learning opportunities aim to support continuous development of Aberdeenshire’s multi-agency workforce. A programme of courses, workshops and events are provided to enhance and build on practitioners existing skills, knowledge and experience.

In this way practitioners can be confident they are taking decisions which best help to promote, safeguard and support children and young people’s wellbeing, and take any action necessary.
