Skilled – Early Support

Knowledge and skills required by workers who have direct and/or substantial contact with children and young people.

Skilled level staff are expected to have undertaken Level 1 Core Informed level training before undertaking Core Skilled Level training

Examples of Skilled level staff are :–

Teachers, School Nursing assistants, Family Support Workers, Children and Young Person Officers, Community Beat Officers, Volunteer Co-ordinators, Pupil Support Assistants

Introduction to Youth Suicide PreventionSAMH2 hoursVirtual courseSessions are run on a monthly basis and bookings are made by contacting SAMH.
