The Whole Family Wellbeing approach in Aberdeenshire is part of a long-term national commitment to support families earlier, before difficulties become more serious. It focuses on prevention, early support and joined-up working, helping families access the right support at the right time and reducing the need for crisis or statutory intervention where this can be safely avoided.
Family Wellbeing Hubs
Our Whole Family Wellbeing Hubs Team works alongside families, communities and partner organisations to provide accessible, relationship-based support. The team focuses on building trusting relationships, recognising existing strengths and offering support in a trauma-informed way.
By offering the right advice and support, in the right way and at the right time, the team aims to improve family wellbeing and help prevent or reduce crisis. Support may be provided by a range of organisations, including local services, professionals, third sector partners and trusted community organisations.
